Artmann&Duvoisin

A voice of A generation

What does it mean to "exploit one's potential"? Does it mean to pour out, to spoon out, to scrape out the potential – or is the image of spreading out a folded blanket more to the point? With voice and movement, Artmann&Duvoisin and their ensemble explore intersections of their creative and dance practice with neoliberal concepts of self and labour. In "A voice of A generation" they speculate on how language and movement can change when ideas of increase, renewal, singularity and overcoming one's own limits are solemnly dismissed In their productions, the artist duo deals with structures that make them feel powerless, making them physically visible.
