Wonderboom

Between apocalyptic ecstasy and despair, the last four party guests are celebrating a seemingly never-ending world demolition party. Not knowing what is to come, they try to capture the essence of humanity for another time and place light years away: memories, sounds, fragments of a world in decline. They make sound recordings of their humanity in this world. Will anything out there ever receive and understand these messages? Or are they themselves the aliens who no longer understand their own world? Wonderboom refers to the Voyager space probes, which were launched in 1977 with golden data discs to tell potential intelligent beings about humanity. A dance on the volcano or a journey through time into the unknown – either way, it’s a party you don’t want to miss.
