Accessibility
Together with our festival partners, we offer services for various needs to make the tanz nrw 25 festival (more easily) accessible to all visitors.
On our website www.tanz-nrw-aktuell.de, we provide information about the accessibility of the venues, introductory videos in plain language and German Sign Language for selected productions as well as audio flyers and video flyers in German Sign Language introducing the festival. Moreover, some performances will offer touch tours as well as audio description. Additionally, tanz nrw 25 includes a number of Relaxed Performances. These events explicitly welcome noises and movements from the audience and allow them to leave and (re)enter the venue at any time.
In the production descriptions on our website, we indicate sensory stimuli and potentially stressful content. However, as there is a wide range of potentially disturbing content and it is not always possible to give an exhaustive list, you are welcome to enquire in advance about specific triggering content by emailing to email hidden; JavaScript is required.
We are aware that we are not yet able to cater for all accessibility requirements. We are constantly working on expanding and improving the accessibility of the festival.
