Sainte Réalities – Tanz NRW EN

We live in the era of the Anthropocene, in which humans have become one of the most important factors influencing biological, geological and atmospheric processes on earth. How do we position ourselves as humans in the man-made age, in the tense atmosphere of pandemic and climate crisis? In his research and production series “Sainte Réalité”, choreographer Ben J. Riepe and his team deal with this role – sometimes painfully – and try to develop healing visions for the future with the means of art. The film documents the research process with poetic images that question the boundary between nature and culture.
