DIN A13 tanzcompany takes its converted purple container to a wide variety of locations – to the heart of city centres, residential areas and market squares. Over a period of two years, the company has explored how safe spaces for marginalised or discriminated groups are perceived in different social milieus. How do people react to the communities hosted by this safe space? Performers with disabilities and performers from the ballroom and LGBTQ+ scene interact with the locations and the residents of the neighbourhood or accidental passers-by. As part of tanz nrw 25, the safe space is coming to Münster and Wuppertal. How will the audience react and interact there?
